Celebration of Mind 2018

Celebration of Mind (CoM) is a worldwide series of events designed to bring people (adults and/or children) together to share and delight in playing with puzzles, games, math and magic. Events are often held on or around October 21st in honor of Martin Gardner’s birthday.

The Gathering (G4G13) 2018

On April 11th through the 15th, 2018, G4G brought together over 300 inquisitive minds in recreational mathematics, magic, puzzles, skepticism, science, art, literature, and the intersections of these subjects.


G4G & CoM at the National Math Festival

The National Math Festival brings together some of the most fascinating mathematicians of our time to inspire and challenge participants to see math in new and exciting ways. The 2017 Festival offers engaging experiential programs, interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and lectures accessible to a wide range of ages, interests, and preparation levels. We build community, both face-to-face and virtually, for the enjoyment of mathematics. The 2017 Festival is organized by the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (MSRI) in collaboration with the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS).



Recreational Mathematics Colloquium V (2017) · G4G Europe

G4G Europe FlierThe Ludus Association, the Portuguese Mathematical Society, and the Centro Interuniversitário de História das Ciências e da Tecnologia (CIUHCT) will organize Recreational Mathematics Colloquium V – G4G (Europe).

Cost: Free for Ludus affiliates, 10 euros for students, and 90 euros otherwise

The Colloquium will be a show and tell of bright pearls of mathematics, with varied levels of sophistication, entertaining many audiences. Its main goal is to foster mathematical appreciation, an important step if we are to see improvements in the future generations.
