Edmonton CoM - Martian Question Competition

The Celebration of Mind is a world-wide event celebrating the lifelong achievement of the great Martin Gardner, October 21, 1914 — May 22, 2010. He is best known for his monthly column Mathematical Games in the magazine Scientific American, keeping it going for more than a quarter of a century.

In Edmonton 2016, the Celebration takes the form of a Contest for Eager Students. The following problem is distributed on October 21, and the deadline is November 21. The top prize is a CD from the Mathematical Association of America, containing fifteen volumes of anthologies of Martin’s columns. Other prizes may be awarded.
