Multiple performances of a dance concert celebrating the lives, work, and struggles of women mathematicians throughout history, in Birmingham, Alabama the week of Martin Gardner’s birthday: on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Alys Stephens Center for the Performing Arts in Birmingham, the dance troupe MoveSpeakSpin performs the concert in the Sirote Theatre. Public performance at 2 PM will be preceded from 12:30 to 2 PM by mathematical games and puzzles in the lobby.
