Upcoming Sessions:Sat 05 Jul – Scott Kim with “How to Design Fair Puzzles”
HOW TO DESIGN FAIR PUZZLES Continuing my series on the Art of Puzzle Design, I'm going to host a conversation on How to Design Fair Puzzles. The central dilemma of puzzle design is that we want to give the solver a real challenge, yet make sure they succeed, or at least feel that the challenge was fair, even if they don't solve it. But puzzle solvers come in all shapes and sizes, with drastically different strengths & weaknesses, preferences & ways of thinking. So how do you design puzzles that work for an audience you've never met? In this presentation + discussion we'll survey the techniques puzzle designers have used throughout the ages to thread this needle.

G4G Tributes
It is with sadness that G4G notes the passing of long time G4G community member Adam Atkinson on Dec 8, 2024.
We continue to update and maintain multiple tribute pages. In this we hope to honour and remember the many who have made the G4G community the remarkable group it is. As well as to inspire and connect those who build on the shoulders of these giants. We welcome and encourage any contribution to these tributes. To share your memories or anecdotes, please email us, support@g4gfoundation.org
