G4G17 – Save the Date
G4G17 will take place February 23 thru 27, 2028 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco, 5 Embarcadero Center, San Francisco. After moving the Gathering from Atlanta to the Bay Area for G4G16, we were delighted by the strong attendance and success in the new venue, and we’re excited to return for G4G17. Katie LaSeur – Executive Director
Katie LaSeur will take up the role as Executive Director for Gathering 4 Gardner. Many of the G4G comunity will be familiar with her through her work organising and running operations over the past decade, functions she will continue. In this expanded role, Katie be taking on more responsibility for long-term strategy, growth, fundraising, and sustainability. Her first priority is to listen and learn.
Over the coming months, Katie will be talking with many people across the G4G community about what members value most, what the organization should be careful to preserve, and what G4G might do next to better serve the existing community and broaden its impact beyond the biennial conference.
G4G Weekly Socials
Our weekly Socials are held on Sunday at 1 pm Atlanta time (check the time for you here).
We are using the Zoom Meeting platform here (not Zoom Webinar as we do for our monthly CoM presentations on the 21st). So for these Sunday socials we will all be able to see each other.

Virtual Celebration of Mind
We continue our series of online seminars, Virtual Celebration of Mind, that started in 2020. The sessions are at 12 noon Atlanta time (check your time here) held on zoom webinar, here.
On Tuesday June 21, at 12 noon ET, Atlanta Local Time, we return for for another Virtual Celebration of mind. The title of this month’s presentation is “Slicing Pizzas and Counting Necklaces” by Joel Haddley. This presentation will happen on Zoom Webinar. We’ll also meet in another Zoom Room, where everyone will be able to see each other, right after this presentation.
