Berry College Mathematics Seminar

There seems to be no end to the mathemagical things one can explore with a simple deck of cards, from algebra and combinatorics to probability and statistics. In this talk, Colm Mulcahy will explore how card tricks provide an entertaining and often surprising forum for mathematics. The talk will include demonstrations, and will explore mostly new principles in mathemagic and their applications to card tricks.
