The Danish Mathematical Society is hosting a Celebration of Mind event on Martin Gardner’s birthday Oct. 21, 2014. The event starts with short presentations about Gardner, games (such as Hex and Soma), Gardner’s relations with Piet Hein, magic, origami, magic carving, and ……by many different presenters, inspired by Gardner. Hands-on arrangements will also be part of the event, which is open to all interested of all ages.
