Sierpinski Carpet

During these week, we are celebrating the birth of Martin Gardner in the Museo of Almeri­a in a big fractal party, organized by the Department of Mathematics of the University of Almer­a. Next October 25th, we are mounting the 6th iteration of the Sierpinski Carpet, and during all this week (October 21-24) we are mounting the 3rd level Menger sponge of MEGAMENGER.

The Sierpinski Carpet Project is a nonprofit, collective and joint activity among children, from 3 to 99 years old, around the world. We want to build a giant geometric fractal, known as Sierpinski Carpet, with coloured squared stickers. http://topologia.wordpress.com/sierpinski-carpet-project/
