Southern Maryland Celebration of Mind

Description:Our Celebration of Mind will feature Hexaflexagons and other fun mathematical diversions, with our main presenter Dr. Susan Goldstine of St. Mary’s College. This will be a hands-on workshop in which participants will be able to create their own flexagons (mathematically inspired folded paper toys). It is free and open to the public, and recommended for ages 11 to 111, with other ages also welcome.

The event will be Saturday, October 21 at 2pm in room 132, Schaefer Hall, on the St. Mary’s College of Maryland campus. Participants may park in any campus parking lot for this event, or in overflow parking on admissions field if necessary.
