Short Bio: Educated as a mathematician at Trinity College, Cambridge, earned a PhD at University of Waterloo: taught at Carnegie Mellon, Georgia Tech and currently teach at Clemson University. Passionate about mathematics, and tying it to other experiences: especially origami, magic tricks, music, poetry, art and cooking. I run STEM outreach events in local elementary schools, with a peer-teaching component: the best way to get children to be passionate about science is to get them to teach it to other children!
